Our Mission :: Country Roads Foundation

The mission of Country Roads Foundation is pretty simple — to support and engage the incredible kids of Camp POWER from camp to college!

As an organization, we strive to instill self-confidence in each child. We provide positive, visible role models so the children of Camp POWER realize they have the tools to pave their own successful life path. Campers turned counselors, turned college students is how we measure our success, and we're already off to a great start!

Our relationship with the kids goes well beyond the 1-week summer camp experience. We relive the memories made over the summer by bringing the Camp POWER family back together throughout the school year to reconnect both bunk-mates and counselors. Just a few examples of these events include:

CRF believes that children growing up in under-funded neighborhoods are often forced to grow up far too fast. By providing youngsters with the sense of community, friendship, and independence, they come head on with their astonishing potential and are free to simply just be kids!
